You may ask: " why is it important that we understand the impact of AI/robot ? and why it is important that we know how to prevent it ?". The answer is that as with all advancement to improve efficiency: from the steam engine of the industrial industry, to the invention of the internet and the first personal computer that bring us to the digital age, AI/robot will inevitably be heavily implemented in the workforce, your life, government, etc... and so it is important to understand how this will impact you and everyone around you socially, financially, etc.. both the good and the bad. And so leading to the answer of how can we minimize the bad while maximizing the good.

Although AI/robot has a much steeper initial investment in buying them, they won't need things later on like salary, holidays, benefits, etc.. that drive up cost
some lower entry jobs like assembly line workers, cashier, waiter, etc... may not be available for not just people with not high enough education or have disabilities, but also regular people.
AI/robot in some cases are more efficient than human as they work fast; with good maintenance, can work indefinitely without break; and they are less likely to make "human " errors
it may negatively impact the environmental because it relies heavily on computing at data centers which now require more power and so power plants may have to increase their production to meets the demand. This will leaves a carbon footprint in the environment
In some data analysis jobs, AI is much more efficient and faster than human at analyzing, understanding and making conclusion from a large amount of raw data
Most GenAI used arts, videos, etc... without their consent to create pieces that although have the style of the artist, there are many common "AI" mistakes like clothing and skin fusing, wonky hands, etc... A person with no knowledge may look at these pieces and assume that the artist make it which causes damage to their reputations.
AI enables businesses to offer personalized experiences to customers by analyzing their preferences. This can be put in things like customized marketing, product recommendations, and tailored customer service.
GenAI and deepfake has been used too scam people into thinking a fake information is true and causes financial damage.
