It’s a learning language model (LLM) that predicts the output to a possible solution. It can handle any type of task thrown at it, whether you’re looking for a problem to be solved within mathematics or learning a new language. It’s got the capabilities to solve a lot of common issues we’ve got in our current day of age. And as such many companies and governments have started to ingrate them into their own system to boost the efficiency and speed of of their operation.
On the left is the percentage of companies using AI in at least one business function since 2017 from the survey conducted by McKinsey & Company: while there is a big surge of AI integration in 2018, their usage percentage began to flatten out and stabilize. But adoption rapidly increase in 2024 showing us how much more AI has penetrated into workplaces.
AS we can see from the graph on the left: There are already many countries that heavily relied AI usage such as China (50%) and India (over 50%). Even though there are countries like Australia, France, Spain where their AI usage rate is lower than 30%, their AI exploration Rate is over 40% showing that they are very interested in developing and enhancing current AIs so that they may integrate more of it back into their systems when they get better.
